Sammy Gee the Artist

I’m a graphic designer by day and a fiction writer during my lunch breaks, subway rides, and late-night inspiration sessions—essentially, I’m a true creative juggling it all! My passion lies in creating beautiful work, whether it’s through eye-catching designs, colorful artwork, or the stories I write.

I recently had the thrill of being featured in my second art show, "The Black Girl Art Show: New Work" in Brooklyn. My collection, “Daughters of the Diaspora: A Love Letter to the Caribbean,” celebrates my mixed Caribbean heritage and all that it means to me.

Growing up in Harlem, surrounded by amazing Black creatives, has always fueled my desire to make a difference through my art. I run on a mix of natural energy, some caffeine, and many ambitious dreams. With a curious mind and the heart of a hustler, I’m all about leaving my mark and inspiring change through everything I create.
